Meet Clint Brown


Clint Brown — Wills and Estate Planning in Prescott, AZ
Clint is a native of Prescott and considers himself fortunate to have grown up in this community he still calls home.

Clint graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1991 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation from Northern Arizona University, Clint obtained his real estate salesperson's license and worked in management and sales capacities in the commercial real estate and semiconducter industry for four years before realizing how much he missed the community he grew up in. After determining a return to law school was the best path back to Prescott, Clint received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the Texas A&M Law Center at South Texas College of Law in 1998, where he was a multi-time recipient of the Am-Jur Award for academic distinction. Clint was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 1999.
After leaving Prescott in 1987 to pursue his education, Clint returned to Prescott in 1998 and has practiced law in Prescott since 1999. Clint's practice areas include both commercial and residential real estate, including preparation of purchase contracts and lease agreements, dealing with title matters and real estate liens, easements and encroachments, tax lien sales, zoning and land use matters, and boundary disputes.

Clint consults regularly with clients in matters regarding loan modification, foreclosure and short sales, and works with clients to identify issues and develop strategies to work through those difficult circumstances.

Clint also practices extensively in elder law and probate matters of all types, including guardianship and conservatorship matters, the preparation of wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, trust administration and probate proceedings.

Additional areas of practice include landlord tenant matters, business formation work with LLC's and corporations, business purchases and sales.

Clint is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, as well as the Real Property and Mental Health Sections of the State Bar of Arizona. Clint is also a member of the Yavapai County Bar Association.
Clint has enjoyed affiliations over the years with several worthwhile organizations, including the Arizona Open Inn youth shelter program, the Yavapai Community Foundation, and Boy Scouts of America. Clint also is active as an advisor in his church youth program, and considers himself lucky to be a member of the Prescott community, with the opportunity to work with the people he calls clients.

In his free time, Clint enjoys spending time with his family and friends in the great outdoors that surround Prescott, where opportunities for outdoor activities abound. Clint looks forward to after-work weekday hikes and mountain bike rides in and around the Prescott National Forest, and can be found many weekends enjoying his passion for off-road motorcycle trail-riding with good friends and his daughter. In addition, Clint enjoys volunteering his time with the Forest Service volunteer trail maintenance program and the several off-road motorcycle clubs he has been affiliated with over the years, including the Prescott Trail Riders, Coconino Trail Riders, and Arizona Trail Riders, to work on maintaining and enhancing the amazing trail systems that currently exist in and around the Prescott National Forest.

Clint and his family also regularly enjoy camping throughout Arizona, where they find abundant opportunities to hike, mountain bike, ride off-road motorcycles and quads together, or simply sit back with a good book and enjoy their time together in the Arizona outdoors.
